What to do when you are losing to Google

by Andrew

  2. A for effort. I can’t see myself ever really using ask.com much (if any?) but I guess at least they’re trying to create a buzz.

  3. I think their marketing is great. It’s their SERPs that need improving.

  4. If you dress up a pig, it is still a pig. Like Marc said, Ask needs to work on their SERPs. Fluff and marketing might get people to look once, but it takes substance and relevant search results to get people to come back

  5. I’m surprised people are still using only one search engine for their searches. Where is Ask.com getting all its money from to still be alive?

I just use Squeba.com… it’s got the best of the best.

  6. I actually liked their new redesign on the result pages. Seams Yahoo! like it too. They have been copycats over the last couple of weeks.
