Tim Ferriss Q&A later today from Right Media
Short notice here; got an e-mail about this so I am assuming they still have a few of their remaining 100 spots open. At 11am PST Right Media is hosting a 1 hour Q&A with Tim Ferriss the author of “The 4 Hour Workwork” (his blog is here.) This is part of their newly announced publisher seminar series so I expect to hear a lot about web publishing! You can register for the session at this link.
I spent some time reading Tim’s blog and was very impressed. He certainly knows his stuff and is transparent about it. You can be sure there are more detailed posts are to come.

Hey,
I was on that Q and A. Nice guy. Other than asking several times for attendees to mute their phones, he presented pretty clearly the key principles of his $ Hour Work Week lifestyle:
1. There are three currencies in the digital world: time, income and mobility.
2. Retirement is an obsolete concept.
3. If your default activity is work then you’re not living live his way.
4. Run your business as a process driven entity that is rule based and therefore not time intensive.
5. Entrepreneurs fear giving up control. Therefore they work too much, unnecessarily.
6. Until you learn to delegate, you won’t have time to live.
And, the one I liked the best:
7. Annual income has no meaning. If you get a raise but have to work more hours, you’ve gained nothing at all.
(This is all parenthetical. I was taking notes and I’m sure don’t have the exact working down)
Anyway, good stuff.

Nice summery; I ordered his book off amazon, going to go pick the package up right now.
The outsourcing of business and personal processes is the part that really has me interested.
