Reader Poll: Do you own your own business?
I am interested in how many readers own their own business. More specifically, is the business your primary source of income?

I’ve made my vote although I’m very surprised that option is so popular

Based on the poll, looks like you’ve got the right audience Andrew.

I had done web publishing as a sideline “business” for years and then one day I’d had enough of my boss and couldn’t take anymore of cubical land. I quit my real job and decided to focus my efforts on my “hobby” business. I soon found I was able to turn my business into a real going concern. Four years later, I have absolutely no regrets about quiting my job and striking out on my own.

Still working on the full-time thing. I just wish I would have known what I know today about 4 years ago. But I hope to be where I want to be in 12-18 months.

Hmmm, just one whos’s answer “No”. I am just starting to build it…

Not a problem, everyone starts at “No.” The number of business opportunities out there right now put every other time in human history to shame.
I would suggest that you get a better web host, and try a market other than making money online. Here are a few older posts I suggest:

I own my online business but if my wife did not work we could not make ends meet.
