Charlie, I think the comfort zone thing is about more than just income. For example, some people say "I'm happy making $45k a year" and then they don't save any money, re-invest, or try to be any better.

When business owners get lazy and make no effort to improve things, thats when their competition eats them alive.

Instead of thinking just in terms of dollars and cents consider how your business will evolve and compete.

The "comfort zone" is a dangerous thing. It is much easier to carry on doing what you are doing and blaming lack of results on a whole host of things.

If your gol is to make $30,000 a year, you should not be surprised if you dont make $1,000,000. Heck, you might only make $25,000.

If your goal is $1,000,000 then you might not make $1,000,000 but you should make a lto more than $30,000

One of the things I have found is to do several different things, and then pursue the most profitable idea, or that idea which you believe you can do X,Y, and Z with.

I think that people who say I am going to make X site, and only do that miss out on a lot of possibilities. A select few do go on and make it big, but many don't. For examples, those people that are trying to be the next YouTube or Myspace should probably have other projects or be invested in other sites.

I have the same problem as Chris does from the first comment. I've started a site and have been working on it in my free time, but I'll also think of another idea and then dabble a little with it, and then go back to my first site, and this just goes on and on. I need to finish one before I get working on another.

My biggest problem is try to go eight ways at once. One of the keys to making ANY money online is...pick a topic, direction, plan and go with it until you've done what was needed. It's too easy to do a little here, a little there, and then start something new and in the end, everything you've done is only half-started.
