Here is a little tool I’ve been playing around with this week — Statwing. It is a web based tool for doing statistical analysis. Just copy & paste your csv (or upload a spreadsheet) and view your results right away.

This tool is brand new and right now the accounts are free. Future updates should cost something. They had a $19/month account, so that gives you an idea of the price point.

As an example, I downloaded data from a PPC account, pasted it in to statwing, and had figured out if there was any correlation between Average ad position and conversion rate (none), quality score and top of page CPC (very significant), quality score and clickthrough rate (medium.) All of this took about 5 minutes.

Data neither has to be hard nor requires Excel.
