My employer is in the prossess of inventing the 8th day!! Honestly I don't understand how they can sleep at night after forceing all of us to work 84 hours a week in order to maintain employment. It might as well be slave labor, yea it's good $ but what's the point of working to support a family that I never see. As far as I know they could have a new daddy by now. I have no life except w/ the people that work w/ me. I made 90k last year but can't tell you what my wife & kids did w/ it & it ain't in the bank! Did I forget to mention I also spend 25 hrs a week in school to further my career. My kids cry every time I walk out the door. How can y'all enjoy this?I'm lucky if I sleep 5 hours a night. TV? Obviously the hope is that if you put enough hours in to begin with you can take a bit easier at a later point although I am not convinced that this will ever be the case. I really hate paying for ANYTHING only to discover after I pay that the offices are closed. You know what business industry is the absolute worst at being closed weekends and late nights but shouldn't be? HOSTING! Those jokers usually close down tehir call centers where you can actually tell a live person he's a moron instead of doing it via support tickets. Doing it via tickets also makes it infinitely harder to quickly determine whether the person helping you will be able to fic the problem or is you should ask for someoen more experienced. Since I've started doing SEM full-time, I LOVE working 7 days a week but at any old regular job, I would be miserable.
